Originating from the Bairrada region, between the foothills of Serra do Buçaco and the sea, emerges Giz, a wine that uniquely expresses the characteristics of the calcareous soils from which it comes. Rooted in century‑old vines and made from native grape varieties planted on poor, stony soils, the intervention in the production process is minimal, both in the vineyard and in the winery. Thus, after artisanal vinification, the wine rests for eight months in French oak barrels to produce a nectar that is unmasked, authentic, structured, elegant and complex—full of individuality and character.
