Taylor's Golden Age is a special collector's edition blended from rare Port wines aged for five decades in old oak casks, released in limited quantities. This 50-year-old Tawny comes from the easternmost sub-regions of the Douro Valley, home to some of the finest Quintas, the traditional sources of the most long-lived wines. Before being blended, the wines were aged in Taylor's cellars in old oak casks carefully selected by the house's master coopers. After half a century in cask, this exceptional wine has reached its "Golden Age" of maturity, at which point it achieves perfect balance, a magical complexity, and a very seductive smoothness and density.
