This wine is a remarkable expression of the Old Vineyards, boasting a power that hints at its creation within the schistous soils of the Douro. The deep, almost ethereal colour foreshadows a wealth of orange blossom aromas – truly capturing the region's sun. On the palate, it’s opulent, offering concentrated dark fruit flavours, underpinned by a firm tannin structure with a distinctive mineral note reminiscent of schist, and a perfectly balanced acidity. Excellent with a hearty roast or grilled fish.
