Havendo Tempo Tinto 3 Litres is a red wine from the Alentejo region of Portugal, produced by Adega Cooperativa de Borba. It is a blend of the grape varieties Alicante Bouschet, Trincadeira and Alfrocheiro. Vintage 2021. Havendo Tempo Tinto - Adega de Borba Winemaking: This wine was made from the region's traditional grape varieties, predominantly Alicante Bouschet, Trincadeira and Alfrocheiro, sourced from some of the older vineyards in Borba. It was aged for 18 months in French and American oak barrels, with part of it in French oak vats, and refined in the bottle in a dark cellar. Colour: Garnet red. Aroma: Stewed dark fruits, spice, aromatic herbs and bell pepper. Palate: Velvety, with fruity tannins, finesse, and well-balanced freshness. Structured with aging potential, and elegant. Food pairings: Pairs well with lamb, kid goat and game meats. Serving temperature: 16–17 °C. Alcohol: 14.5% vol. Presented in a 3-litre bottle. To get the most from this red, open the bottle a few minutes before serving and pour it into a wide-bowled glass, which lets the aromas breathe. For younger, more concentrated wines, a brief decanting helps soften the tannins. Store the bottle lying down, in a cool, dark place free from temperature fluctuations. Once opened, reseal it and keep it in the refrigerator to preserve the aromas.
