Herdade das Servas Vinhas Velhas White Magnum is a white wine from Alentejo, Portugal, produced by Herdade das Servas. The winemaking is overseen by Luís Serrano Mira and Ricardo Constantino. It is a blend of the Arinto and Roupeiro grape varieties from the 2020 harvest. It has an alcohol content of 13% vol. and comes in a 1.5 L bottle. The wine shows a straw-colored hue with greenish highlights and a clear, bright appearance. It offers good aromatic complexity, with citrus notes such as grapefruit and white flowers, accompanied by a mineral character from its aging in clay. On the palate it is fresh and unctuous, with a very long finish. It pairs well with oven-baked fish, white meats, and fresh cheeses. Serve at 10–12 °C. Pour this white well chilled but not cold, into a medium-sized glass that concentrates the aromas. If the bottle comes out of the refrigerator too cold, let it rest at room temperature for a few minutes so the wine can show its full expression. Store the bottle on its side, in a cool, dark place without temperature fluctuations. Once opened, reseal it and keep it in the refrigerator to preserve its aromas.
