Casa Relvas is a family‑run venture that began in 1997 in São Miguel de Machede, Redondo, by Alexandre Relvas, with the aim of continuing the story of five generations steeped in a passion for the Alentejo and its authentic nature. Over the years the family grew alongside the business, and today the estate spans roughly 750 ha of montado forest, 225 ha of olive groves, and 350 ha of vineyards, all cultivated through integrated methods. With its three estates – Herdade de São Miguel, Herdade da Pimenta, and Herdade de São Miguel de Machede – Casa Relvas can produce 6 million bottles of wine a year, 70 % of which go to the external market, making the wines available in more than 30 countries worldwide and showcasing the best of the Alentejo.
