Herdade do Rocim “Herdade do Rocim” Branco is a genuine wine born of generations’ passion, each of whom have always treated the land with the greatest respect and tenderness. It is crafted from the varieties Antão Vaz, Arinto and Viosinho. **Climate** – Typically Mediterranean, situated in the Vidigueira sub‑region where the Alentejo’s climatic conditions are the most temperate, creating an optimal microclimate for high‑quality wine production. **Soils** – Low‑yield, granitic and xistose in origin, yet offering great pedologic potential for viticulture and the creation of exceptional wines. The Antão Vaz, Arinto and Viosinho grapes are grown in an ascending monoplane, on a plot with a slight sunrise exposure and east‑west orientation of the rows. **Vinification and ageing** – Manual harvest in 12 kg crates during the early hours of 19‑20 August 2021. After a period of cold skin maceration, fermentation occurs in a stainless‑steel tank at a controlled temperature of 14.5 °C for 21 days.
