Herdade São Miguel Colheita Seleccionada Branco is a white wine from Alentejo, Portugal, produced by Casa Relvas. The winemaking is overseen by Nuno Franco and Alexandre Relvas. It is a blend of the grape varieties Verdelho, Viognier, Antão Vaz and Arinto. Vintage 2025. Hand-harvested. Fully destemmed. Pre-fermentation maceration for 8 to 12 hours. Vacuum pressed, fermented at controlled temperatures (15°C to 18°C) in stainless steel tanks (50%) and in 400-liter barrels for 20 to 30 days. Aged for 4 months, 50% in French oak barrels. It shows a citrine yellow colour. The complex aroma combines tropical fruit and white flowers with notes of butter and coconut. The palate opens fresh, with fine acidity and pronounced body. Very mineral and harmonious, with a long finish. It pairs well with white meats, seasoned fish, salt cod and seafood. Serve at 10–12 °C. 12.5% ABV, bottled in a 0.75 L bottle. Score: Wine Enthusiast 87/100. Serve this white well chilled but not icy, in a medium-sized glass that concentrates the aromas. If the bottle comes out of the fridge too cold, let it stand at room temperature for a few minutes so the wine can show its full expression. Store the bottle on its side, in a cool, dark place free from temperature fluctuations. Once opened, reseal it and keep it in the refrigerator to preserve its aromas.
