The Clarete Hugo Mendes Pitau Lisboa, crafted from Tinta Roriz, Touriga Franca and Touriga Nacional grapes, was bottled without stabilisation, potentially leaving tartrate crystals at the bottom of the bottle, especially after prolonged exposure to cold. “Pitau” is the nickname of Hugo Mendes’ family in Ribeira de Santarém. With this wine, the producer aims to pay tribute not only to the place where he grew up but also to the values that have been passed down to him throughout his life.
