Jean‑François Ganevat is unique, there is no other like him anywhere in the world. His wines are treasures that result from the extreme care of this “vigneron” in every part of his vineyard, in every step the grape takes until it becomes liquid gold. Jean‑François is far more than a biodynamic farmer; he is a perfectionist who imagines, goes to the point that each of his small cuvées has a unique and personal “élevage”, something that would drive anyone mad. It is in Jura, although he has worked with Jean‑Marc Morey in Burgundy, that Jean‑François makes his wines. Between Burgundy and Switzerland lies an enclave where several vineyards give rise to all of this producer’s cuvées, which are nothing more than an immortal mirror of each of his terroirs. As a fervent biodynamic, his wines contain very little sulphur, and in some cases none at all.
