Jean‑François Ganevat is one of a kind; there is no other in the world. His wines are precious treasures that stem from the extreme care of this “vigneron” throughout his vineyard, from the vine’s every step until it turns into liquid gold. Jean‑François is much more than a biodynamic winemaker—he is a perfectionist who imagines himself, to the point that each of his small cuvées has a unique and personal “elevage,” something that would drive anyone mad. It is in Jura, despite having worked with Jean‑Marc Morey in Burgundy, that Jean‑François makes his wines. In an enclave between Burgundy and Switzerland lie the vineyards that give rise to all of this producer’s cuvées, which are nothing more than an immortal mirror of each of his terroirs. As a fervent biodynamic, his wines contain very low percentages of sulfites, or in some cases none at all.
