The Kopke 30 Year Tawny is an exceptional Port wine, made from traditional Douro grape varieties and aged for decades in the bottle, achieving extraordinary complexity and elegance. It shows an amber hue with delicate greenish undertones, revealing intense aromas of dried fruit, harmoniously wrapped in notes of vanilla and honey. On the palate it feels silky, concentrated and perfectly balanced, culminating in a long, sophisticated and memorable finish. A Port that perfectly expresses the art of ageing and the unique character of the terraced soils of the Douro. C.N. Kopke is the oldest Port wine company. It was founded in 1638 by Cristiano Kopke and his son, Nicolau Kopke, who had come to Portugal as Consul of the Hanseatic League.
