O Lento Vinhas Velhas White is crafted from vines around 90 years old, located more than 500 metres above sea level in the Douro, and hand‑picked. The grapes, grown on granite and sandy soils, reveal the pure expression of a high‑altitude Douro, with unrivalled freshness. The varieties Rabigato, Viosinho, Gouveio, Códega de Larinho, Síria and Folgasão give the wine complexity and elegance. Spontaneous fermentation, carried out with indigenous yeasts, preserves the mineral, acidity and terroir freshness without the intervention of wood, highlighting the true essence of the place. Geographic Wines is a project by Daniela Matias and Nuno Morais Vaz that seeks to create wines that reveal the genuine characteristics of the varieties and the terroirs that produce them.
