Veiga França wines are a brand with a long history at Henriques & Henriques. The house was founded by João Gonçalves Henriques, and its origins date back to 1850. After his death in 1912, a partnership was formed between his two sons, Francisco Eduardo and João Joaquim Henriques, which gave rise to the name Henriques & Henriques. From its earliest days, Henriques & Henriques held a prominent place in viticulture and the art of winemaking. In 1913, the family's interests were consolidated into a family company which, in 1925, began operating as an exporter of its own wines, rather than supplying local wine to other exporters. Since then, the company has embraced the latest technological innovations while preserving the unwavering family tradition that has endured for 200 years in producing the finest Madeira wines. Total control over every aspect of production allows H&H to produce and market wines of exceptional quality. The bottling year may not correspond to the image shown.
