Descendant of a family of winemakers and cooperatives from Boppard on the Rhine, Jean Adam Reitz arrived in Burgundy in 1793. His great‑grandson Paul Reitz, a producer from Nuits‑Saint‑Georges, settled in Corgoloin in 1872 and founded the estate in 1882. Over eight generations, the property has endeavoured to preserve the knowledge and expertise in line with the tradition of owners, winemakers and merchants. (image merely illustrative)
