This Manuel Correia Émecê is a wonderfully raw expression of Douro’s spirit. Crafted from Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Barroca and Tinta Roriz, it’s a wine with a colour that certainly delivers, boasting incredibly smooth tannins that speak to the region’s heritage. Not one for a casual sip, best enjoyed alongside a hearty beef roast to really amplify those red fruit nuances. Essentially, a heartfelt tribute to Manuel Correia’s land and family, and a reminder of the Douro’s genuine character – a distinction it’s rightly earned over the years.
