The MARCO 3 red is crafted from the traditional Douro blend of Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz, and Touriga Franca, delivering intense forest‑fruit aromas coupled with a notable wild floral note on the nose. A subtle spice adds depth and volume to the finish, making this wine truly worthy of Excellence. MARCO 3 wines are produced by Héstia e Baco – Turismo e Viticultura, Lda., exclusively in the slate‑ground vineyards of Quinta da Ferreira de Baixo in Mesão Frio, along the Douro River, where the Marco Number 3 of the 1758 Pombaline factory is located, giving the wines their name. Quinta wines, born from a unique terroir, are handled with the utmost care from vine to bottle, produced with minimal intervention, which makes them wines of excellence, with a distinct identity and no artifices, respecting their land and people and aligning with their origin and nature.
