The Maritávora No. 4 Reserva biológico red is crafted from Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz, Touriga Franca and other traditional Douro varieties, sourced from mature vineyards. Fermentation takes place in granite vats with hand‑crushing, followed by an 18‑month maturation in French oak barrels that imparts greater complexity, elegance and evolution potential. It offers an intense, harmonious profile where fruit blends with the depth and structure provided by the wood aging. On the palate it delivers well‑integrated tannins, excellent balance and an enveloping texture, reflecting the authenticity of the grapes and the Durians terroir. The finish is long, persistent and elegant, underscoring the character of the vineyards and the commitment to organic production.
