This Monte da Capela Reserva is a real journey into the heart of the Alentejo – a white wine that simply dazzles with its golden hues and a hint of green. It’s clearly a vineyard that’s known a good deal of sunshine, hinting at intense white fruit and a touch of vanilla, all thanks to a lengthy aging. The silky texture and elegance on the palate come from the Verdelho and Antão Vaz grapes, and Casa Clara – who’ve rightly earned some awards – suggest it’ll continue to develop beautifully in the bottle.
