The National Wine Cellar ensures all wines are stored at the correct temperature and humidity, yet it also chooses to preserve the visual appearance that comes with age. We curate a selection of brands and regions that, by default, display distinct characteristics in aged wine tastings. Nonetheless, wine is a living organism exposed to time, and even within a bottle, aromas evolve in various ways. Consequently, the National Wine Cellar cannot be held responsible for the product’s quality, as it is an aged wine. We recommend opening the bottle and letting the wine breathe first, which will help release its natural aromas after so many years sealed. If you choose to decant before serving, do so patiently to detect the sediment that an old wine tends to form.
