The Adega Cooperativa de Vidigueira, Cuba e Alvito was founded in 1960, yet its story stretches far beyond six decades. It was established to safeguard the vineyards, the wine, and the millennial way of life of this Alentejo sub‑region, while further investing in wines of renown and quality. With an annual production of around 6 million litres of wine and 8 million kilograms of grapes per harvest—derived from about 1,500 hectares of vines owned by roughly 300 members—it is today a modern and prominent cooperative winery.
