Deep‑purple in appearance, it offers aromas of black currants and dark sweet cherries, spices, and subtle violet floral notes. On the palate it’s very firm at first, then reveals a superb acidic freshness with dark fruits shining on the mid‑palate, all supported by fine, granular tannins that give it a long, silky, dry alcoholic finish. This is a Port wine that can be aged in cellars for an extended period.
