Bottles of vintage wines may exhibit dust residue and damaged labels, which is normal given their age. The National Cellar commits to storing all wines at the correct temperature and humidity, but it always preserves the visual character inherent to the wine’s age. We select brands and regions that, by default, show distinct traits in tastings of old wines. Nonetheless, we want to remind you that wine is a living organism that ages over time, and even inside a bottle its aromas evolve. Therefore, the National Cellar cannot be held responsible for the product’s quality, as it is an aged wine. Our recommendation is to open the bottle and let the wine breathe first, as this helps release its natural aromas after many years of being sealed.
