More than 50 years tell the story of Adega Cooperativa de Portalegre, a winery that, over time, accumulated knowledge and experience while skillfully combining its vines’ unique location with the work of Iníciom. In 1954, a group of people organized to turn the grapes of founding members and shareholders into wine. Taking advantage of the excellent site on the slopes of Serra de São Mamede, the first great wines of Alentejo were born. (illustrative image only)
