“This 2012 Colheita from Quinta da Corrieira, meticulously hand-harvested under the guidance of enologist Tiago Correia, is a fascinating reflection of a remarkably challenging vintage. Early rains, followed by a sweltering summer, forced an unexpectedly early harvest, yielding grapes of surprising health and remarkable potential. The result is a dense, elegant wine, aged in French oak barrels, boasting a pH of 3.25 and a total acidity of 7.3 – all while showcasing the distinctive character of the Carcavelos Arinto. Released in a limited run of just 1000 bottles, this wine pairs beautifully with game meats or a perfectly grilled steak.”
