This Quinta da Terrincha Reserva is clearly aiming for a dramatic entrance – that deep ruby colour certainly sets the stage. The initial burst of red fruit and toasted notes, as recognised by *Revista de Vinhos* (92 points!), is wonderfully confirmed. Built around Touriga Nacional and Touriga Franca for freshness, it’s bolstered by Sousão and Aragonez for a satisfying structure and body. A lengthy barrel maturation has bestowed a luxurious texture, and the finish is impressively long, making it a truly memorable pairing with a hearty beef roast.
