The story of Quinta das Bágeiras already spans three generations, yet it was only in 1989, under Mário Sérgio’s stewardship, that they began bottling and selling their wines, quickly establishing themselves as a benchmark in Bairrada and across Portugal. Although made according to the traditions of earlier generations, the wines of Quinta das Bágeiras are not fleeting fads—they remain ever in style, each harvest revealing the character of the region and the people who produce them.
