Quinta das Bageiras The grapes for this wine come from a collection of plots that, because of their characteristics (soil, sun exposure, etc.), produce elegant and fresh red wines. The grapes of the two varieties were fermented without destemming for about a week in an open press. During that time, they were stirred with wooden paddles several times a day until the wine reached the desired intensity. Finally, the wine finished fermentation in used Burgundy barrels (French oak), where it aged. It then moved to a small wooden cask where it remained until bottling, with no fining or filtration.
