The history of Quinta das Bágeiras already dates back to the work of three generations, yet it was only in 1989, under Mário Sérgio’s leadership, that the wines of Quinta das Bágeiras began to be bottled and sold, quickly becoming a reference for Bairrada wines and for Portugal as a whole. Though crafted according to the procedures of previous generations, the wines of Quinta das Bágeiras are not trend‑driven; they are always in style, revealing each harvest the character of the region and the people who produce them.
