The history of Quinta das Bágeiras already spans three generations, yet it was only in 1989, under Mário Sérgio’s guidance, that the wines began to be bottled and sold, quickly becoming a benchmark in Bairrada and in Portugal. Though crafted according to the methods of previous generations, the wines of Quinta das Bágeiras are not fads, but always in vogue, revealing the character of the region and its producers with each harvest.
