Quinta dos Aciprestes The Quinta dos Aciprestes winds around the Douro River on its gentle slopes, in an area completely replanted with the finest varieties of the Demarcated Douro Region. Located between the Cima-Corgo and Upper Douro sub‑regions, its vineyards benefit from a microclimate that provides ideal conditions for grape ripening. The Quinta dos Aciprestes Reserva is produced from 60 % Touriga Nacional and 40 % Touriga Franca, sourced from plots 15, 16, 17, and 18 of the estate. Fermentation occurs in small stainless‑steel vats, followed by a 12‑month maturation in French oak barrels. Born in 2003, the Reserva of Quinta dos Aciprestes was conceived with the ambition to showcase the best the estate can offer through a deeper understanding of its vines. By implementing precision viticulture, we are able to capture a truer expression of the estate’s terroir, thereby producing wines of higher quality.
