Serve with roast lamb or veal and aged cheeses, at 16–18 °C. The wine shows a garnet colour. On the nose, violet, wild berries and bergamot. On the palate, full-bodied, with firm tannins and a floral finish. It pairs well with grilled red meats, roast kid and aged cheeses. Serve at 16–18 °C. At 14% ABV, it comes in a 0.75 L bottle. To get the most from this red, open the bottle a few minutes before serving and pour it into a wide-bowled glass, which lets the aromas breathe. For younger, more concentrated wines, a brief decanting helps soften the tannins. Store the bottle on its side, in a cool, dark place free from temperature variations. Once opened, reseal the bottle and keep it in the refrigerator to preserve the aromas.
