The Quinta dos Espinheiros Reserva Vinhas Velhas red wine is produced from more than 25 different grape varieties sourced from the estate’s old vineyards. Vinified in granite vats and then aged 14 months in French oak barrels, it displays an intense ruby color. Its aromas of wild red fruit, forest notes, fine spices and tobacco impress with freshness and complexity. On the palate it reveals elegance, with silky tannins and an excellent body, enveloped by notes of wild fruit. The finish is balanced, fresh and persistent. Quinta dos Espinheiros is a producer of olive oil and wines located in the Douro region of Portugal. Covering 10 hectares, the estate offers a stunning view over the vineyards and the Douro River.
