The Quinta dos Espinheiros Reserva Vinhas Velhas white is made from more than 15 different grape varieties grown on the estate’s old vines. After fermentation in French oak barrels, it aged for an additional eight months in the same barrels, with bâtonnage to benefit from fine lees. The result is a pale yellow wine with citrus fruit notes, minerality and freshness. On the palate it is captivating, full-bodied, with vibrant acidity and a mineral profile, finishing fresh, elegant and persistent. Quinta dos Espinheiros is an estate that produces olive oil and wine in Portugal’s Douro region. Covering ten hectares, it offers a stunning view of the vineyards and the Douro River.
