Mirabilis White is a sublime wine crafted from grapes grown on small, centuries‑old vineyards in the Douro, where Viosinho and Gouveio dominate. On the palate it is smooth and crisp, exuding exceptional elegance and a perfect balance of freshness, structure, and acidity. Quinta Nova da Nossa Senhora do Carmo is a place of extraordinary beauty at the heart of the Douro, owned by the Amorim family since 1999. The family’s long‑standing connection to wine dates back to their ties with export houses in Vila Nova de Gaia through the cork business, and this relationship has now culminated in the realization of a dream, with the project in the hands of the fourth generation. With a heritage of over 250 years, the estate preserves a historic pedigree and the original 1764 wine‑cellar building, restored under the guidance of architect Arnaldo Barbosa. (illustrative image)
