Ramilo It is said that great wines are born from harsh conditions, and few regions are as demanding as Colares. With dry soils, strong salty winds, humidity, and a predominantly cloudy climate, the planted vines at Quinta do Cameijo thrive, sheltered by the heat of the local sands. This environment requires enormous, almost entirely artisanal work, but the effort pays off! The result is wines that transcend generations, offering freshness, saltiness, minerality, and a fascinating complexity. To produce this Ramilo Ramisco, the grapes were hand‑picked, carefully selected, and destemmed upon arrival at the cellar. Fermentation took place in a stone trough, with foot‑pounding for a week. After malolactic fermentation, the wine aged for three years in French oak barrels before bottling. Allergen information: contains sulfites.
