The bottles of old wines may show traces of dust and damaged labels, which is normal for their age. Garrafeira Nacional commits to storing all wines at the correct temperature and humidity, but always chooses to preserve the visual appearance inherent to their age. We select brands/regions that, by nature, reveal distinct characteristics in old wine tastings. However, we inform you that wine is a living organism exposed to time, and even within a bottle, aromas are subject to different evolutions. Thus, Garrafeira Nacional cannot be held responsible for the product's quality, as it is an old wine. Our recommendation is to open the bottle and let the wine air out beforehand, as it will help release its natural aromas after so many years closed. If you choose to decant the wine before serving, make sure you do it patiently to detect the appearance of sediment, which a typical old wine tends to produce. (image purely illustrative)
