The bottles of older wines may show dust residues and damaged labels, which is expected given their age. The National Cellar ensures all wines are stored at the correct temperature and humidity, yet it also preserves the visual character that comes with aging. We curate selections of brands/regions that typically reveal distinct profiles in tastings of aged wines. Nonetheless, wine is a living organism that, even sealed, evolves over time, so the National Cellar cannot guarantee product quality for vintage bottles. We recommend opening the bottle and letting the wine aerate first to liberate its natural aromas after years of closure.
