Soalheiro ALLO is the fusion of the initials of Alvarinho and Loureiro, two noble grape varieties from Minho. Loureiro, making up 70 % of this blend, supplies floral notes, while Alvarinho provides the structure that gives ALLO its backbone. By combining Loureiro’s delicate nature with Alvarinho’s confidence, ALLO reflects both the playful and serious sides of our region. Terroir: IG Minho. The Alvarinho and Loureiro grapes that compose this wine come from terroirs ideal for each variety. Loureiro vines are cultivated in an Atlantic‑influenced area with a relatively low temperature swing, preserving the typical aromas of this variety. Alvarinho grapes hail from an inland zone shielded by the Monção and Melgaço mountains, which fosters the tropical‑fruit aromatic precursors characteristic of this variety. Vinification: The grapes are hand‑picked. After pressing, the must is clarified at low temperature. Loureiro and Alvarinho ferment separately in stainless‑steel tanks, ageing with the lees before blending and bottling.
