This Susana Esteban Foudre VV is a wonderfully calming introduction to the Alentejo. Made primarily from Aragonez with a touch of Garnacha, it’s a bone-dry wine that perfectly embodies the region’s character. Expect ripe red fruit notes, reminiscent of a freshly picked strawberry, alongside a lingering, subtly spiced finish. Seriously, it’s fantastic with a lightly grilled steak or, perhaps more traditionally, some perfectly grilled sardines with garlic – a classic pairing, really.
