Susana Esteban is one of the Portuguese winemakers who has won the most awards. Her brilliant creations remain in memory and her collaborations reveal what good is made in the world of Portuguese wines. She began her career in 1999, and it was in 2011 that she established her project in Alentejo, when she acquired her first vineyard plots. In 2012 she was awarded the most prestigious prize that a winemaker can receive in Portugal, the title of "Winemaker of the Year" by the Wine Magazine, and she remains the only woman to have received this distinction to date.
