In Silvã de Cima, beside the Taboadella vineyard, a crushing mill was born on a rugged monolithic rock – one of the Dão’s oldest winemaking relics. It contrasts with a contemporary cellar built from natural materials such as wood and cork, complete with a balcony that lets you take in the magnificent, single patch of vines surrounded by an immense forest. Here, where past and future intertwine, the wines are born from the land and landscape, nurtured with particular, patient care that recovers nature’s essence from the past and projects it into the future, producing great wines with remarkable typicity while preserving the Dão’s ancestral character.
