This straw‑yellow white wine is made mostly from Encruzado grapes grown on old vines at Quinta da Teixuga. Its aroma shows great intensity and some complexity thanks to ageing in French oak barrels. In the mouth it is intense and full‑bodied, with a lively acidity that is well integrated and a long finish. Caminhos Cruzados was born from the initiative and desire of Paulo Santos, a native of Nelas, who, determined to return to his roots to invest in the wine world, decided to transform an old agricultural company into a modern winemaking and bottling business. The company's philosophy is based on producing quality wines, blending tradition, modernism, and constant differentiation demanded by the market. Its wines are made from own‑production grapes and selected producers, recognised for their quality and excellence in varieties, all from the Dão region.
