Tenuta Guado al Tasso is located in the small, prestigious Controlled Designation of Origin (DOC) area of Bolgheri, on the coast of Alta Maremma, about a hundred kilometres southwest of Florence. This appellation has a relatively short history. Established in 1994, it now enjoys international acclaim as a new benchmark in the global wine scene. Tenuta Guado al Tasso covers roughly 320 hectares of vines on a splendid plain surrounded by hills known as the “Bolgheri amphitheater” because of its unique layout.
