The work from the start has always focused on finding old vines in the most genuine and least explored spots of the Douro, where there were new stories to tell in the form of wine. It all began on the Sopé da Serra do Reboredo (1,000 m above sea level), in Paredes da Beira, the highest point in the Douro. Surrounded by abundant granite outcrops, the area features sandy granite soils interspersed with quartz veins, with altitudes between 700 and 1,000 m. It lies on the slopes of the Távora River and boasts a remarkable heritage of century-old vines, untouched through time and tended by hands through generations of hard work. From here come wines with great freshness, character, and identity! The goal will always be to bring out the best the vine can give, respecting its history, tradition, and the essence of its people.
