Antónia Adelaide Ferreira, the Ferreirinha, and which still today remains in the hands of her descendants. Vallado wines, unjustly forgotten for years, have now naturally reclaimed their lost time. They are wines of great importance in the history of the Douro and deserve a place among the top selections. Built in 1716, Quinta do Vallado stands as one of the oldest estates in the region. It is situated near Régua on the banks of the Rio Corgo. The future of this emblematic estate rests with João Alves Ribeiro and Francisco Ferreira, both descendants of the Ferreirinha, who oversee the business management and enology, respectively.
