This Marlborough blush from Villa Maria seems to have been a particularly generous vintage – almost as if the region itself was indulging us! The extended dry spell resulted in an incredibly concentrated fruit maturity, a standout amongst the Sauvignon Blancs of the area. The controlled inoculation in stainless steel tanks delivers that signature Marlborough vibrancy, but with the refined elegance that Villa Maria is known for. Pairs beautifully with oysters or a berry salad to really sing out the wine's acidity.
