Villa Nogueira Harvest tinto is a wine with Óbidos Denomination of Origin, and its production places special emphasis on environmental and health concerns, as the grapes used are sourced from vineyards certified under the Integrated Production standards. It presents an intense ruby colour, with minty and balsamic notes combined with aromas of forest berries and slight nuances of wood. It reveals freshness, liveliness and mature, silky tannins. Quinta do Porto Nogueira was founded in 1738, in the first half of the 18th century, and remained in the possession of the same family until the second half of the 20th century. The current owners acquired it at the beginning of this 21st century. The property's 20 hectares of vineyards are planted in clay soils, shaped by the natural microclimate at the foot of the Serra de Todo-o-Mundo and by the proximity of the Atlantic Ocean, about 20 km away. A non-irrigated vineyard with unique characteristics, unmatched freshness and natural salinity. Thus, the wines are marked by their singularity.
