Herdade Do Freixo

Herdade do Freixo is a winery located in the northeastern part of Alentejo, Portugal, that focuses on producing concentrated, long‑lived, fresh, and fine wines. The estate spans approximately 300 ha of pure Alentejo vineyards and follows a natural, gravity‑fed winemaking process that avoids pumps. The winery’s architecture is designed to blend with the landscape, with three underground floors to maintain stable temperatures. The estate produces a variety of wines, including the Freixo Family Collection and Terroir series, using grape varieties well‑adapted to the local climate and soil.
