This generous Madeira wine, very old and classified as “Frasqueira,” is part of the wine estate of the owning family of this company. It is made from noble grape varieties harvested in years of exceptional quality and excellent yields, using grapes from the finest vineyards on the island of Madeira. Before bottling, it benefited from a long maturation in old oak barrels at the recommended temperature in the warehouses of this century‑old business. In this way, it was able to evolve into a characteristic Madeira, reflecting the grape variety that gave it origin, and achieving a high level in terms of structure, aroma and breadth on the palate. It is recommended to let the wine aerate for some time after opening to develop the rich complexity of its aromas. The bottling year may not match the image shown.
